Want to try scuba diving?

Mid Herts Divers have 'This Girl Can' Scuba and snorkelling events on Wednesday 5th and 12th October 2016. A presentation about BSAC (British Sub Aqua Club), the basic kit and the Scuba equipment followed by a try diving experience during our pool session. Fantastic Farne Islands

Diving in the fantastic Farne Islands! A mid week dive with lovely weather, blue sky, sun and only a slight westerly breeze. 10 -15 m visibility. Dived the hopper and Scar Cares: seal, crabs, lobsters, sun-starfish & lots of sea urchins and wrasse in 13•c water. Walmer and Knifestone: wrecks, anchors, engines, boilers and wreckage, plus more seals. Thank you Pete Lemon.

Eyemouth July 2016

Six of our more experienced (read old) divers made the epic drive to Eyemouth for some wreck and reef diving with Marine Quest. Four very enjoyable dives, the highlight being the Glanmire wreck which sits at around 30 metres and had between 5 to 7 metres viz.
