New Year 2020 Dive Recovers Lost Phone

January 1st, 2020

The first dive of the New Year in Arlesey proved fruitful with Mid Herts Diver Alan Baldock (pictured left) and other divers from North Herts and Stevenage clubs finding and recovering a mobile phone, dropped overboard a dinghy in December. Great collaboration between the local dive clubs. Let's hope we continue with more fun and interesting dives in 2020.

Christmas Meal and 2019 Awards Presentation

One of the social highlights of the year was the 2019 Christmas meal and Awards Presentation.  This year, the meal was held at the French-themed gastro-pub The Waggoners at Digswell hill, Welwyn Garden City. Rescue Skills Refresher Part 1: BLS

Mid Herts Divers club night at Hatfield Swim Centre saw a Basic Life Support refresher for members. The event was well attended and a good opportunity for members to brush up on these essential skills. New MHD Member

Darius attended MHD for a try dive in early December. He was very keen to get back in the water following an unsatisfactory try dive elsewhere and his perseverance paid off. Following our usual try dive format we began in standing depth with kitting up and equipment familiarisation.
