On the 26 June BSAC technical instructor Paul Booth visited MHD with his CCR (Closed Circuit Re-breather) to give a talk, demo and try dive.

We learnt the basics in the classroom and then entered the pool with CCRs. A new world where you benefit from always breathing an optimum gas mix... and expel no bubbles. Now some of our experienced divers know how our try divers feel, we were back to being novices again with no buoyancy control and a big learning curve.

Thanks to the 2 Pauls for presenting a very interesting evening and allowing us the use of their kit. Also well done to Richard for organising an evening that was a bit different from the norm.
